Passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2020.

Willard was the beloved father of Kimberly Ann (Miller) Davies, Karl Miller, Kelly Miller, and Kurt Miller. He is survived by his children and 13 grandchildren, as well as his siblings Fred Miller, Francis Miller, Joanne (Miller) Cassillis, Garry Miller, Kenny Miller, Margot (Miller) Bee, Earl Miller and Carol (Miller) Mrozinski, along with many nieces and nephews. Will was also the son of the late Willard and Margot Miller, and brother of the late Gregg (Eggy) Miller.

Will Mill, as he was affectionately known by most, was well loved by his friends and family. He lived his life serving his country and the Philadelphia community. He joined the US Army, trained as a member of the 82nd Airborne, and served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the First Air Cavalry. He was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran, receiving the Combat Infantry Badge, Air Medal and Bronze Star Medal. Will Mill also had a 34-year career as a Philadelphia Firefighter, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. When he wasn’t working he loved hanging out with the fellas, shooting pool, playing darts, listening to the oldies, and dancing.

Please join the Miller family at 3:30 pm Saturday, February 1st at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a casual(jeans preferred) gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Willard’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 4:30 with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 4:45 until 7:00 pm, where Willard’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.

In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made in Willard’s name to The Wounded Warrior Project.
