Will Mill, as he was affectionately known by most, was well loved by his friends and family. He lived his life serving his country and the Philadelphia community. He joined the US Army, trained as a member of the 82nd Airborne, and served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the First Air Cavalry. He was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran, receiving the Combat Infantry Badge, Air Medal and Bronze Star Medal. Will Mill also had a 34-year career as a Philadelphia Firefighter, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. When he wasn’t working he loved hanging out with the fellas, shooting pool, playing darts, listening to the oldies, and dancing.
