Walt Diaczuk

WALT DIACZUK, age 75, of Philadelphia, PA, sadly passed away on November 10th, 2020.

Walt was the beloved husband of Paula (nee Grillo) aka, his “Paul”, for 52 amazing & adventurous years. He was the loving & devoted father to Walt Jr, Denise (Michael Trask), Kate, & Nick. Walt was also the affectionate & always playful Pop to Jacquelyn, Lauren, Courtney, Jeffrey, Kyle, Nina, Michael, Kaylee, Luke, Riley, & Nicky. In addition, he was the very proud Great Grandfather to eight beautiful babies & one more due to arrive in just weeks. Walt was also the fond, big brother of Robert (Ruthann) and is survived by a number of his brothers & sisters in law, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Walt loved spending time with his family, the holidays, family dinners & birthdays. He loved being silly, chilling in his chair, listening to the oldies, roofing, collecting ev-er-y-thing under the sun, & “taste-testing” Mom’s stuffing. He also found devilish joy in slightly torturing his best friend “Paul” for coffee, cake, other treats, & countless little things. Walt “the Animal” also indulged himself to an occasional cold one with his son-in-law & grandsons while taking in a good Phillies or Eagles game. Walt was a hard-working, generous, funny, gentle, tough, thoughtful, & loving man. He will be so deeply and sorely missed by many…especially his doting & adoring wife, his grateful & so loved children & grandchildren, and his two 4-legged black beauties, Sophie & Bella. Till we meet again, Animal. Thank you for a wonderful lifetime of you!
