At the age of 65 years old was called home on October 26, 2019 to be with her late husband, Roy E. Orange Sr. Susan was the beautiful Mother of Katina Montieth and Robert T. Koehler Jr. The loving Grandmother to Robert Koehler, Chelsea Montieth, Shane Montieth, Andon Montieth, Mason Montieth, and Peyton Montieth. The Sister to Edward Wermuth, Joy Flaville (James Flaville), Paul Wermuth (Connie Wermuth), and late siblings Doris Peterson and Thomas Wermuth. Susan had many nieces, nephews, and extended family (Roy’s children) who she loved dearly. Susan has been reunited with her late parents, Mary Wermuth (Neary) and Harry Wermuth.

Susan spent most of her life in Philadelphia, working 22 plus years as a Revenue Collection Representative in the Tax & Water Division at the City of Philadelphia Law & Revenue Department until being diagnosed at the early age of 51 with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Susan was a loving caregiver to so many family members over the years, including her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. She was selfless and loving and always did what’s right. She taught her children to be kind and always led by example. She was an inspiration to those around her. She was a loyal and supportive sister to her siblings. She was courageous, beautiful, and brave throughout her life and continued to be while living with her illness. Susan was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Please join the family at 12pm on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center at 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Sue’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 1:15pm with time for luncheon & fellowship immediately afterwards, from 1:45 to 4pm, where Sue’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances, and support.

Susan’s family also welcomes you to attend the burial of her ashes on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 1:30pm at the New Cathedral Cemetery, Front & Luzerne St. Philadelphia, PA 19140.
