Age: 86 of Levittown, PA

Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018. She is survived by her three nieces Sirint (Jay) Schilling, Apisri (Aaron) Harjes and Veeraorn (Brandon) Brickner. She is also survived by many close family members such as Sumruay, Thipkumpon, Nuchanad and Anaya Poeta, also Boonchuay and Nantipa Ieamniramit.

Somchai became a U.S. citizen in 1959 and resided in the Philadelphia area until her death. During her lifetime, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting. Although Somchai never had children of her own, she was an influential part of many children’s lives as they were growing up. Somchai will be remembered not only for her beautiful smile and infectious laughter but also for her kind heart and soul. Somchai will be truly missed.

Please join the Smyser family after 6:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday , January 9th , 10th , & 11th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for Somchai’s three nights of Prayer. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 7:00 with time for fellowship immediately afterwards, until 8:00 pm, where Somchai’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support. Somchai’s final day of prayer will take place Saturday January 12th at 2pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center.
