Age: 89 Of Warrington
Passed away at her home in Neshaminy Manor on Friday, November 30th.
Shirley came to Philadelphia from Wilkes Barre, PA as a young woman. She met and married the love of her life, Paul Hurwitz and began a life together, which included 2 children, Alan and Laurie. Paul passed from heart disease at an early age. Shirley was fortunate to find happiness again with Harry Hirsch, and a blended family began. Many nieces, nephews, friends, grandchildren & great grandchildren later, her life was filled with love.
The family drug store business allowed Shirley to utilize her degree in accounting. Her passion for Judaism, her volunteer work for B’nai B’rith, along with the love of family blessed her with a full and wonderful life.
Relatives & Friends are invited to attend Shirley’s graveside service Sunday, December 9th at 11am at Roosevelt Cemetery, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway Feasterville, PA. The family will be celebrating, not mourning her life immediately after with an Open House Celebration at our home beginning at 12:30 pm. We hope all of you will join us.
