Robert W. Mulvenna
“Bobby”
Born and Raised in Kensington and had no desire to go anywhere else.
Was an early member of Teamsters Local 676 and worked as a truckdriver usually in the construction field. Later, Bob became interested in the field of wagering on the Ponies and Numbers and helping others do the same.
He was a lover of most sports with boxing being his favorite. There wasn’t a book that he wouldn’t read and despite not having a formal education could be considered a man of knowledge.
Bob had a memory that could recite incidents and occurrences from long ago and would regal eager listeners with tales of times gone by.
A father and grandfather, a brother and an uncle, Bob will be missed by all.
Bobby’s family will receive friends on Thursday Feb. 8th from 6-10pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Robert’s name be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
