Robert F. McConnell originally from Norristown PA, passed away on May 11, 2018 at the age of 74. He was the longtime partner of Sharon Kieffer. Robert worked for the Maintenance department at Valley Forge National Park for many years and was proud of serving as a deputy for the Pennsylvania Fish Commission. This career fit well with Bob’s love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Robert was the brother of, Father James McConnell and Eileen (Joseph) Trowbridge. He is also survived by his stepson Frank Kieffer, Jr. and a grandson Michael Kieffer. Robert was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Roseanne (Vuotto) McConnell, his brothers John and Raymond McConnell and sisters Rose Marie Kelly and Bettyann and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Please join the family after 3:00 pm Saturday, May 19th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center , 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Robert’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 4:00 with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 4:30 until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please send memorial gifts to one’s favorite charity in Robert’s name. Committal services at a later date will be private.
