Pat “Bubbo” passed at age 50 on March 25th, 2017. Beloved son of Patricia (Joseph) McCaffery (nee Parrish) and the late Patrick Cummiskey. Loving father of his daughters Ashley and Madison Cummiskey. Dear brother of Edward (Maureen), Stacy (Anthony) Battistini, John, Dawn (Michael) Bausman, Ellie (Michael) Murphy and step siblings, Desmond (Eileen) McCaffery, Patricia (Brendan) McNamee, Joseph (Cynthia) McCaffery, Eamon (Debra) McCaffery, Maureen (Hank) Benincasa) Michael (Dina) McCaffery. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bubbo’s life while short was a full one. From a very small age, Patrick has been a handful, always up to mischief and keeping everyone around him on their toes. At a young age, Bubbo embraced horseback riding and won numerous ribbons in shows. He was fearless. Bubbo loved spending time with his family down the shore and at the “junk yard.” He had many talents and hobbies, including Elephant training, tree climbing, motorcycles, fishing, boating. Everything seemed to come easy for him.
Everyone in the “Burg” knew Bubbo! So if he owes you money, you’re shit out of luck. What he did leave you with is his smile, laughter, kind heart and willingness to help anyone.
Bubbo’s most precious gifts in life are his beautiful daughters Ashley (puddin head) and Madison (Bug). If you met him, even for a moment, he would tell you about his beautiful girls. If he could have given them the world, he would have.
Our beautiful big head (which he grew into) blond haired Bubbo, will be missed by more people than we could ever count. We thank you all for loving him and letting him love you in his special way. It’s not goodbye, but until we meet again.
Pat’s viewing will be held Thursday, March 30th 10am – 12pm, at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Rd. Phila. PA. 19136, where his services will begin at 12pm. Parking is available at Fluke’s Irish Pub, 7401 State Rd, Philadelphia, PA. 19136.
