Patricia Ann Rankin (nee Silvestri) of Philadelphia, peacefully returned to the Lord on Friday July 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 81. Pat is preceded in death by her father, Romano, her mother, Viola (nee Pizzichil), brothers Howard, William, Peter and sister Lucy and her husband, Arthur. She is survived by her three children, Arthur, Jr. (Beth), Lori Ann Palmer (Charles) and Craig (Kristin). Known as Grandmother/Nonna to her eight grandchildren, Janelle, Jenna Clancy (Colin), Lauren Little (Matt), Casey, Connor, Shane, Brooke and Brynn, and her two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Luke.

Pat was born on June 22, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pa and was raised in the northeast section of Philadelphia and Huntingdon Valley, Pa. She married Arthur Rankin of the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia on November 22nd 1959 and raised a family in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia where she continued to live throughout her life. Pat was passionate about her family and enjoyed sharing time with them at family gatherings, vacations and Sunday mass. When not with her family, Pat was passionate about gardening, antiquing and participating in flea markets.

Pat was caring and dedicated to her friends and family and instilled a strong work ethic in her children and grandchildren for which they are especially thankful. We will miss our conversations with her and ask her to watch over us and keep us safe.

to 11:00 A.M., Saint Dominic’s Church 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136 followed by her
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow mass at the Saint Dominic Cemetery.
