God looked around His garden and saw an empty space,
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest,
God’s garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
God knew you were in pain and a cure was not to be,
He closed you weary eyes and whispered “come to me”.
With tearful eye we watched you and saw you slip away,
Though we loved you dearly we knew you could not stay.
It broke our hears to lose you but you did not go alone,
Part of us went along with you when our Father called you home.
