Mark Peters passed away peacefully on June 11, 2020 after a brief illness with congestive heart failure. He was born on February 28, 1962 in Concord, MA. He grew up in Winthrop and lived in California, Maine, and finally Holland, PA. He was the loving son of Catherine Peters Grant, Frank Grant, and the late Franklin Peters. He was predeceased by his sister Susan Gulla, and was a loving brother to Cathy Craig, Frank Peters, Jeanne Darcy, and Nancy Peters, Lynda LaCombe, and Michael Grant. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mark worked hard as an independent contractor doing residential and commercial painting. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Southeast Asia. He loved cooking and spent some time as a chef at Faneuil Hall in Boston. He was also an animal lover and enjoyed interacting with children. Mark was an avid collector of stamps, coins, baseball cards and other assorted collectables. He enjoyed music and concerts; one of his all time favorites was The Rolling Stones.
Mark’s kind heart, generosity, and joking nature will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
