Age: 61 of Philadelphia

Margaret M. Anderson passed away peacefully on May 17, 2019 surrounded by her closest family. Margie is survived by her daughter Christine Ouellette (Vicky Visconto), stepsons Michael Gavaghan (Kim) and Joseph Gavaghan, her nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters who were her “best friends”, Eileen Clair (late Nemo), Nora Anderson (late Richard Robinson) and Lizz Boyce (Bob Sullivan and the late Dennis Boyce).

Margie lived in Bridesburg for 32 years, more than half of her life. She worked at some of the neighborhood bars, Tommy’s Round Table, Daddy-O’s and the Original Post Office Cafe. She was very loved by her family and friends. Her heart was all giving and there was not a bad bone in her body. She will truly be missed, but will join her family and friends who passed before her.

Please join us in honoring her beautiful soul on Tuesday May 28th from 6-8pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center. Family requests in lieu of flowers, monetary contributions made to Christine Ouellette. Additionally, with purple being Margie’s favorite color, we ask that you come dressed comfortably and wearing something purple to celebrate her life.
