James A Lee, Sr, passed away peacefully in his step daughters home in Feasterville, PA on Monday, February 1, 2016 surrounded by his family after battling a lingering illness at the age of 70. James resided in Philadelphia, PA with his companion Jeanne Vickers.
James is survived by his children: James Jr (Tracy), Robert Sr, Charles Sr (Trish), Dawn (Greg Jones) and Richard (Stephanie). His step children Bernadette (George Kennedy), Christine (Mike Pollacco), Stan Vickers, Frannie (Jim Kamieniecki) and Steven Vickers (Michelle). Devoted grandfather of 26 and great grandfather of 5. Loving brother to Albert (Sandra), Carole (Raymond Hankinson Sr), Joan (Mike Dunn) and late Thomas Sr (Susan). And loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
James was born February 17, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA to Albert Sr & Marguerite. He was a student at Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, PA. He was a local member of the Plaster Union #8. Also a member of the Tacony Club and the Wissimoming Yacht Club. He loved going to train shows and was very adventurous.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service at 430pm, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 where the family will receive guest after 3pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to The Shriners Hospital for Children 3551 N Broad St Philadelphia, PA 19140 would be appreciated.
