Jacob “Jake” Paul, of Philadelphia, passed away at age 36 on May 9th, 2017 from a brain tumor. Jake was a loving and much loved husband to Brooke Freezman and the joyous loving father to his son Jackson Emmitt born January 27, 2017. Jake delighted in holding and feeding his newborn son. Jake was an avid drummer and for several years volunteered for the Glenside Fire Company. Jake brought tremendous love, laughter and joy to his family: Megan Snyder (sister) and Peter Bresnahan (brother), Fred Snyder (father) and Myrna Butkovitz (step mom), Alice Snyder (mother) and the late Kevin Bresnahan (step father), the late Paul Moulton (grandfather), many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacob also had many loyal and devoted friends and coworkers.

In tribute to Jake, the family has created the Jacob P. Snyder Charitable Foundation. This fund will provide direct support to other families that face the same medical challenge as Jacob did.
