Age: 46 Of Philadelphia

(nee McCaney) went to be with the angels on August 31, 2018, after a very brave fight against cancer.

She was the loving wife of Thomas W. Roush, Jr. and the devoted mother of Justin L. Large (Taylor), Thomas W. Roush, 3rd (Bryanna) and Jenna N. Roush, and of course her 11 year old chocolate lab, Snoop. She is survived by her step-father, (but always “Dad” to her), Thomas F. Hannigan, brother Edward J. McCaney (Lynn), sisters Kathleen L. McCaney, and Edith A. Durkalec (Mark). She’ll now join in heaven her father Edward J. McCaney, Jr. and her mother Edith A. Hannigan.

She is also survived by 2 grandsons, Tommy and Ronan, who she truly adored and could always put a big smile on her face. Heather will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and countless friends.

We’d like to offer a special “thank-you” to Mrs. Barbara Roush, her mother-in-law for all her help with caring for Heather during the last few very difficult weeks and days….it is so deeply appreciated by all of us.

Heather was a free spirit with a beautiful smile, even giving us a glimpse of that smile during some of her toughest days during her illness.

Heather’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at The Cottage Green, 9001 Ashton Road, Philadelphia PA 19136.

Friends and Family may pay their respects starting at 12 Noon with a Luncheon to follow at 1PM
