Age: 82 of Rockledge

Passed away October 7, 2019. Eugene was born in Philadelphia on September 13, 1937 to the late Catherine Gallen (nee Mansfield).

Eugene was the devoted husband of Geraldine Gallen (nee Greenleaf) for 63 happy years. Beloved father of Deborah (Dan) Roats, Dawn (Alan) Rice, Joseph (Maureen) Gallen and the late Eugene Gallen. Dear brother of Lena (Butch) Altimairo, Joanne Gallen and the late Joseph Gallen. Loving grandfather of Lauren (Ben) Smith, Genevieve (Shawn) Ryan, Danielle (Will) Gonzalez, Amanda, Allison & Ashley Rice, Jake, Aidan and Julia Gallen. Adoring great grandfather of Frank and Amelia Liguori. Treasured brother-in-law to Donald (Patricia) Greenleaf. Eugene will be sadly missed by many cherished nieces, nephews, dear friends, his granddog Tullamore and his two great granddogs Rex and Milo.

Please join the Gallen family after 5:30 pm Friday, October 11th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Eugene’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 7:00 with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 7:30 until 9:30 pm, where Eugene’s wife and family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support. In Lieu of flowers charitable donations in Eugene’s name may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice and Home Care.
