“Sue”
Age: 64 of Levittown, PA

Passed away suddenly on February 4, 2020.

Eleanor, known to friends and family as “Sue”, was the devoted wife of Joseph Veitz for 47 years; adoring mother of Shannon (Edwin) Thompson, James “JJ” (Amber) Veitz and “adopted” daughter Danielle McDougle; cherished grandmother of Alicia & Brandon Thompson and Lianna Veitz. Eleanor will also be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Eleanor spent the last 20 years in Levittown, PA. Eleanor had a great love for animals and was a big fan of talk shows, especially America’s funniest home videos and true crime tv. You would never find Eleanor without her tweezers in hand, chapstick and hand sanitizer. Her favorite pastimes were scratching her scratch off tickets, playing the lottery and spending time with her family.

Please join the Veitz family after 6:00 pm Monday, February 10th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Eleanor’s life. The family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support until 9pm.
