Denise Morris (nee Zaremski) of Philadelphia passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.  Denise was the beloved wife of the late Charles Morris. Denise is the loving mother of John Morris (Corita Martin), Krystal Morris, Denise Morris (John Walker), and Jessica Morris (Anthony Francione). She is also the proud Mom-Mom of her adored grandchildren, Corbin, Aiden, Emily, Abigail, Grace, John, and Jack. She will be sadly missed by her cherished siblings, Patricia Reif (Joseph), Dennis Zaremski (Joanne), Marty Zaremski (Carol), and the late Adam Zaremski, Jr.  Denise will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and all that knew and loved her. Denise was a born and raised Philadelphian. She had few but long tenured jobs in her lifetime but her absolute favorite title was Mom-Mom. 

First and foremost, Denise was a dedicated mother who treasured time spent with her kids. She was a fierce mama bear and regarded as the strongest woman her children have ever met. While Denise was an incredible mother, nothing made her heart soar more than being “Mom-Mom” to her grandchildren.

Denise had a kind and compassionate spirit with an infectious smile to boot. She made friends everywhere she went, and she’d give you the shirt off her back without you even asking. 

She told it like it was so there was never a worry on where you stood with her and she gave tough love when needed. Denise was the epitome of a good-hearted human and never needed a pat on the back for it. “Be good; do good” was exactly who she was.
