Dawn Marie Rouse, 51 of Philadelphia PA passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2021. Born on September 17th 1969 to Thomas & Shirley Rouse, Dawn was the youngest of four children. She is survived by her sister, Susan Gage (Mark Gage) and her brother, Kenneth Rouse (Yana Rouse) as well as her niece & nephew, Leah & Conor Rouse.
Dawn grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, where she graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School. After graduation, she attended Empire Beauty School and pursued her career as a Cosmetologist. Dawn loved the challenge of staying on top of new hair trends & continued to educate herself wherever and whenever possible. Dawn lived in the city for a number of years, as she loved the energy city life provided. She had a love of music & had an avid interest in her Irish heritage. In Dawn’s early years she was able to realize her dream of traveling to Ireland & Scotland. Dawn’s later years in life were very hard for her, but she is now at peace and free from further pain and suffering.
Relatives and friends are invited to a calling with the family at 10:00 a.m. on June 9 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, PA 19047. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Family request attendees wear masks while in church. A private family interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace cemetery.
