David M. Stough, age 63, lifelong resident of Levittown, PA, died quietly on June 7, 2018 at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, surrounded by his wife, son and daughter. The oldest son of Howard and Margaret Stough, David graduated from Bishop Egan in 1972 and then obtained a B.S. degree from Shippensburg University. Dave worked at Metals/Interstate Steel for many years. He was a passionate football coach, a devoted father, and an enthusiastic Cub Scout leader, also, an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lower Bucks. Though he struggled with alcoholism throughout his life, he found sobriety and peace in his final months. He will be mourned by his wife Colleen (nee Schorr), son Jamie (Susan), daughter Rebecca, grandson Atlas, brothers Tim (Janet) and Mark (Kathy), his aunt Victoria Kessler, SSND, also many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and devoted friends. His kind heart, charisma, bad jokes, and optimism will be dearly missed.
The life and accomplishments of Dave will be celebrated at The State Room at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center located at 7350 State Rd Philadelphia, PA 19136 on Friday, June 22nd from 6pm to 9:30 pm. Donations in his name can be made to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lower Bucks or to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Baltimore, MD.
