Danny Miller

Danny Miller, 56 years old of Pennypack, Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by his beloved family. Danny was born on October 10th 1964 and passed away on March 17th 2021 when he lost his brave battle with cancer. Danny is now in Heaven joined with his beloved parents Harriet V. and Samuel J. Miller.

Danny is survived by his twin Doug Miller (Judy Hummel), his cherished sisters Dolores Miller and Karen Anne Miller, as well as his loving brother David Miller (Deborah Miller). Danny is also survived by his beloved cousins Catherine Opalisky, Josephine Shellenberger and Jack Shellenberger, his many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family, as well as his closest best friends Harry, David, Tommy, Mike, Bobbie, and Paul, who loved and supported him no matter what. His friends supported him immensely during his illness and cherished their Brotherhood “not brothers by blood but brothers by heart.”

Aside from a great friend, Danny was affectionately known as The Greatest Uncle of All Times, and was The Best Fisherman of The Year (even though he didn’t win the trophy in a few years). Danny’s family said, “You didn’t need to worry about anything in this world if you had a brother like Danny, he was a gift to the heart and a friend to the spirit.” Danny was also known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

He will always be remembered in the fond memories of our minds and forever in the hearts of those that have known and loved his spectacular spirit.  Until we meet again Dano …”

A Funeral Mass for Danny will be held at St. Dominic’s Church, 8504 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19136 on Thursday March 25th 2021 at 10:00 AM.
