“Brian”
Age: 56 of Philadelphia
Died peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 surrounded by loving family.
He was born March 29, 1962, in Philadelphia, to Renow “Carson” Casteel and Cecelia O’Keefe Roche. Brian was always known for his silliness, sense of humor, and die-hard love of the Championship Philadelphia Eagles and the 76ers. He grew up in the school of hard knocks and most knew not to mess with him or anyone he cared about. Brian had the uncanny ability to look at any cityscape and instantly tell you which city in the country it was. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time camping. Brian loved life most while spending time with his kids and grandkids. He had strong relationships within his family and considered many cousins, nieces, and nephews to be like siblings.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Brian, Heather, and Carson; a grandson, Justin, his granddaughter, Sophia; a brother, Patrick “Hammer” (Judy); his sisters, Cecilia (James), and Marlene (Robert) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and “Georgie Mulhan”. He was predeceased by his parents, Renow Carson and Cecelia; and siblings, Barbara, Edward, Michael (Michele), and Elizabeth.
Please join the Casteel family after 6:00 pm Friday, March 15th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Daniel’s life.
