Barry Repella

Barry Repella went to be with his Lord Jesus on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Pennsylvania Hospital, surrounded by his family.  He was 69.

He was born on April 16, 1948 at Mercer Medical Center in Trenton, NJ and was raised in Bristol and Levittown, PA. He was the loving husband of 41 years to Kathleen (nee O’Brien).

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Anita Parker; his son Erik Repella and wife Ashley; and granddaughter Grace Elisabeth; his daughter Maryanne Falkenstein and husband Frank;  brother Don (Carolyn) Repella; brother Robert (Peggy) Repella, nephews Bobby (Angie) and Kyle. He is also survived by numerous brothers-and-sisters-in-law, and their children. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Repella, and step-father, Russ Parker.

Barry was a follower of Christ, and most mornings began with quiet time in the Word. Anyone who knew him knew not only his love and devotion to his family, but also his great love for tennis. He was active in many leagues over the past 40 years and could often be found “hitting the big ball” on the clay of Arborlea Tennis Club in Yardley, PA.  Also very active in his local church, Barry was a leader in the First Presbyterian Church Youth Group for over 15 years.

Kathy & family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all extended family and friends who have provided comfort and support to Barry and family these last few years.

The family will receive friends and relatives at 11:00am on Saturday, the 16th of December with a memorial service to follow at 12noon at First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, 5918 Emilie Rd, Levittown, PA 19057.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Group of First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, PA.
