Age: 67 of Philadelphia

It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Mitchell (nee Leininger) announces her passing on Tuesday, August 6 2019 at the age of 67 years.

Barbara was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended St. Joachim school and 1970 alum of Little Flower High School. She worked for the federal government for over 40 years and also at Sears for over 20 years. She most recently lived with her daughter in Baltimore, Maryland.

Barb will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Nicole, sister and brother-in-law Diane and Tim Kaisinger, brother William Leininger. She was the cherished aunt of Kristen (Joe)Ancone and their daughters Olivia, Madelyn, and Ava whom she referred to as her angels, and the late Timothy Kaisinger.

Please join the Mitchell family after 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 27th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Barbara’s life. There will be time for refreshments and fellowship from around 6:15 until 9:30 pm, where Barbara’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support. In lieu of flowers Barbara asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
