Pecillo, Angelo Steven (73) passed away peacefully on July 22, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Donna (nee Lawler), his loving daughter Stephanie (Anthony), his grandchildren Madison and Jordan Battersby, his sister and brother-in-law Christine and Craig O’Brien of Newtown Square, PA, his mother – in- law Margaret Lawler of Philadelphia, PA and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Elizabeth Pecillo, his son-in-law Ryan Battersby and his father-in-law William M. Lawler.

Steve was a caring and dedicated teacher of foreign language at Community College of Philadelphia for 30 years. Even as he battled the illness of Crohn’s disease for 50 years, he was so proud of his educational accomplishments and the accomplishments of his wife, daughter and grandchildren. They were the light of his life.

Please join the Pecillo family after 6:00 pm Thursday, July 25th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Angelo’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin at 7:00 with time for fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 7:15 until 9:00 pm, where Angelo’s wife and family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
