Passed December 30th 2018 at her cabin in Barnet, Vermont. She was born June 24th 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. She came to Philadelphia in 1969 where she worked for 45 years as a psychotherapist and the last 10 years specializing in drug and alcohol treatment, which she loved. Alice enjoyed music with training in voice, flute and cello. She was an avid reader, home cook and baker.
She had an extensive circle of family and friends. One of her greatest joys was her grandson, Jackson, who brought a lot of light into her life. Alice is survived by her sister Ellen, brother Jim, daughter Megan, son Peter, daughter-in-law Brooke and grandson Jackson. She is preceded by her oldest son Jacob, father Paul, husband Kevin and sister Winnie.
Please join the Snyder family after 11:00 am Sunday, January 13th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Alice’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 11:00 with time for refreshments and fellowship where Alice’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Brain Tumor Society or the American Heart Association.
