Alberta M. Hallak (née Rubin), 91 years old, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
Alberta was born in 1930 in New York City to Samuel Rubin and Rose Rubin (née Blumberg). She met the love of her life, William, at the age of 18 and they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage.
Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, William Hallak.
Alberta was an amazing mother to her children: William (Carmen), Jeannette (Butch), and Doreen (Brian).
Alberta enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren: Vicki (Len), Jessie, Jennifer (Kris), Will, Holly (Dan), Rachael (Marc), Joshua, Jordan (Cheyanne), Destiny, Cassandra, Samuel, Hannah. Great-grandchildren Brianna, Ryan, Alyssa (Ryan), Alex, Kateri, Tyler, Tristan, Ethan, Brynn, Shelby, Kris, Vanessa, Gabriel, Arianna and Callie. Great-great-grandchildren: Raelle, Jack and Rylee. She also loved her great grand-dog, Harper Jean.
Alberta loved working with children. She worked at the Brooklyn Home for Children caring for orphans. She then became the lunch lady and recess monitor at Grandview Elementary School for many decades.
She excelled at being a fantastic mother, housewife and friend. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and spending time with her family who were her world.
Alberta was always smiling, laughing and making memories. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of spending time with her. Alberta’s love for the Lord was almost as big as her heart.
A private service will be held with immediate family.
