Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. On July 2nd, 2020, Joan (Scott) Higgins rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings. She just celebrated her 60th birthday on March 22nd and was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.

Joan was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for her family. She was truly one of a kind, with a laugh and smile that spread like wildfire to those in her presence. Joan had a huge heart filled with love and forgiveness making it so pure. A moment with her made all your worries go away because you knew she wouldn’t judge you and genuinely cared.

On July 18th Joan’s life will be honored at St George’s Church located at 2700 E Venango St. Philadelphia, Pa 19134. Visitation to pay your respects will start at 9 o’clock followed by a 10 o’clock mass. Due to Covid-19 it is required that anyone entering the church please wear a mask and of course stay home if they are not feeling well.
