Eve Bogest Krieger, of Yardley, PA died on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the age of 65. She is survived by her mother Mary Lou Bogest and predeceased by her father Edward Bogest. Eve was beloved by her son David, daughter Carolyn MacDonald, and her husband Christopher. Eve was the adored “Naneve” to her grandchildren, Clara and Charlie. She is lovingly survived by her sisters Karen Euse, Diane Luceri, Ellen Dini, and was preceded in death by her sister Michelle Henry. She will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews as well.

Eve was born in New Jersey, but she moved around a lot because of her father’s job. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1977, and despite its small-town charm, she dreamt of bright lights and big cities and moved to New York to work as a buyer at Lord & Taylor. There, she met Dan Krieger, and a few years later, they were married. Eve spent most of her adult life in Lower Bucks County where she raised her son, David and daughter, Carolyn whom she cherished deeply. She was an active parent and loved getting involved in her children’s school activities, like the Council Rock High School Marching Band, Choir, and countless other parent-student organizations. Although a stern disciplinarian, she was known around town as the “cool mom” and an inspirational role model to not just her own children, but many of their peers, as well as student employees at the Newtown Athletic Club.

Eve loved her job at the NAC for many years. She had always been passionate about health and fitness, and after joining as a member in 1987 (when it was known as the Newtown Racquet and Fitness Center) she soon started working as the Front Desk Manager. Eventually she would advance to the position of CFO and work until she became unable in 2019. She was known for being gregarious, vivacious, and taking a lot of pride in her work, but also as someone who spoke her mind and that you did not want to mess with. She played an integral role in the business and its transformation over her 27-year career there, and she made some great friendships along the way.

Eve loved fashion, gardening, cooking, listening to classical music, watching the academy awards, gazing at the moon, and most of all, her children and grandchildren. She was known for making the most of every minute of the day; whether it was food or time, she hated to waste anything, and appreciated all that was in her world. Her cooking was the best you’ve ever tasted, and her house was the cleanest you’ve ever seen. She seemed almost superhuman to many, and like every great superhero, her legacy will live on in those she inspired.
